1. Introduction
(30 minutes)
The first call will be our complimentary introduction meeting. During this call, we’ll discuss your needs and whether we would be a good fit to work together. Sometimes people just need reassurance about their current financial approach. In this call, even if you don’t end up using our services, we’ll help identify and provide that reassurance. We don’t believe in creating work where none is necessary.2. Onboarding Session
(1 hour)
Once we’ve agreed to work together, we’ll start the onboarding process during this session. You’ll gain access to our software portal, where we’ll begin setting up your financial data integrations. These integrations are a key part of our service, as they allow us to monitor your progress throughout the year.3. Objective Planning
(1 hour)
During the objective planning session, we’ll dive deeper into your financial goals, values, and vision for your financial future. This is a crucial meeting because many people have never taken the time to thoroughly think through these aspects of their life.4. Financial Roadmap Design
Now that we’ve gathered all the necessary data, it’s time to construct your financial plan. We’ll analyze the information within RightCapital, our financial planning software, and begin developing the strategy to help you achieve your goals.
5. Strategy Assessment & Execution
(1.5 hours)
We’ll present the custom plan we’ve created for you. This will include everything we’ve previously discussed, along with any specific items you’ve mentioned (e.g., RSU/ISO treatment). Both advisor and client action items will be clearly outlined.6. Family "CFO" Support
After presenting the plan and obtaining your formal acceptance, we will move into the support phase of our relationship. This includes periodic check-ins to ensure the plan is on track and to provide an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have.
We’ll schedule two formal meetings a year to discuss the progress of your plan and address any new action items that may arise (such as taxes for the current year or any significant “spike” or “blocker” events). Remember, a financial plan is dynamic. We’ve built the framework and foundation, but life is not stagnant—things can and will change, and we’ll be ready to adapt. Aside from the two formal meetings, we’re always available for ad-hoc calls throughout the year. As your personal CFO, no question is “too small” or “too large.”
